The beam didn't hit her directly, but the buckling floor did make her falter, unsteady on her feet as she already was. She hit the thick glass of the window, gloved fingers just barely finding purchase on the frame.

Somehow, she managed to stay upright, but the room tilted sickly and she kept one hand on the window for balance, slowing her progress even more.
