It's going to sound like a stretch, but her song selection was something kind of...passionate, so, like a moron, I ended up asking her what made her pick the song she picked, and she told me, and I asked her what her admitting that meant, and --

You have to understand that I'm. Just. Very bad at interpersonal relationships, okay? I didn't know what to do when she hugged me and admitted that she still cared about me. I just. I froze, and she kept going on about how much Blackmask had ruined her life, and how none of her teammates understood what she was going through because they were all raised to be emotionless, and I just. I felt so bad for her.

She told me I was the only person she could relax around. That I was the only one she could connect with on a personal level, and that none of the Titans -- I told her not to worry about it. That everything would be alright. And. It. It just happened.

I don't even know what came over me. It just -- And you -- I know you're going to think less of me, and that I'm scum, and that I should've just.
